Premier American Rock Band Launches New Album “Mr. Sad Clown” April 6th

April 5, 2010 Santa Monica, CA:  The BoDeans, one of America’s premier rock bands, recently signed with 429 Records and is promoting “MR. SAD CLOWN,” their debut collection of fifteen new, original songs for the label, with a whirlwind schedule of events  this week to coincide with the album release on Tuesday, April 6th.  The BoDeans begin the week in Chicago today with a special pre-game performance plus a performance of the National Anthem at the Chicago White Sox opening day game.  A slew of television, radio and in-store appearances are also scheduled in Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis throughout the week!

Hailing from Waukesha, Wisconsin, the BoDeans were voted “The Best New American Band” by the readers of Rolling Stone magazine when they made their debut and have continued to evolve, honing their sincere lyricism, heartfelt melodies and rich guitar sound.  Produced by the band’s front man, Kurt Neumann, “MR. SAD CLOWN” is their ninth studio album.  The BoDeans are Kurt Neumann and Sam Llanas.
