and his band have their summer work cut out for them.
He's announcing their summer tour, currently set for
more than 33 cities, set to kick off in Virginia Beach,
Va., on June 11. The string of dates is being dubbed
the "Tim McGraw and The Dancehall Doctors OUT LOUD
Summer Tour 2004." Exact tour cities will be forthcoming.
McGraw has tapped two duos, newcomers Big and Rich,
and 429 Records recording artists The Warren Brothers
for the opening slots. The Warren Brothers, currently
star celebrity judges on the hit TV series 'Nashville
Star', will have their new release 'Well Deserved Obscurity'
hits stores April 6 in time to take full advantage of
the tour.
And McGraw will be "dancing with the one who brung
him" for the past six years: the tour will again
be sponsored by Bud Light And before he starts that
tour, McGraw will finish filming his feature film debut
in "Friday Night Lights." He's also finishing
up his next album, which is due in stores on Aug. 31.
