“BLUE AGAIN:  LIVE IN LONDON” DVD
SET FOR AUSTRALIAN RELEASE NOV 27 ON 429 RECORDS/UNIVERSAL

New Live CD and DVD Features Original Compositions and Classic Fleetwood Mac Songs

Release Coincides With Australian Leg of Fleetwood Mac Tour & Mick Fleetwood Blues Band Tour

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  429 Records/Universal is set to release “BLUE AGAIN,” the CD containing stellar live recordings of the iconic rock drummer and Fleetwood Mac co-founder Mick Fleetwood and his Mick Fleetwood Blues Band featuring Rick Vito, performing classic Fleetwood Mac songs as well as all new compositions in the same style.  In addition, they will also release the companion DVD BLUE AGAIN: LIVE IN LONDON featuring a scintillating live performance.   Revisiting the blues based classic songs of early Fleetwood Mac with his blues ensemble such as “Albatross,” “Oh Well” and “Black Magic Woman,” along with several brand new compositions, Mick Fleetwood assembled a top-notch band of blues and rock musicians and released the chart-topping collection of songs earlier this year in the U.S.  Debuting at #1 on both the iTunes and Billboard blues charts, the cd was a critical and commercial success.   Both the CD and DVD will be released November 27 in Australia to coincide with the fall leg of the Fleetwood Mac tour.    Mick Fleetwood has also scheduled a handful of Australian dates beginning in February 2010 as the Blues Band will perform shows with Boz Scaggs and Michael McDonald.  In addition, BLUE AGAIN: LIVE IN LONDON began airing on the Ovation Channel in Australia on November 3rd.

Produced by Mick Fleetwood and former Fleetwood Mac member Rick Vito, BLUE AGAIN was recorded live at the Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis, Missouri in February of 2008 and sees him teaming up on this recording with guitarist and lead vocalist Rick Vito, bassist Lenny Castellanos and keyboardist Mark Johnstone. The immaculate recording gives the songs a vibrant, modern immediacy which transcends easy nostalgia.  The companion DVD captures Mick and his Blues Band in a dynamic London area performance last year.

Says Mick: “Over my career I’ve been called a pop star and a rock star, yet in my inner heart, I will always be part bluesman.  On my journey from blues to a life of rock ‘n’ roll, I’ve always remembered where I started.”  BLUE AGAIN is both an original musical tour de force and a respectful tribute to Fleetwood Mac initiated by the sole member of the band to be in every incarnation from the beginning.
