Live bands are loud, they are supposed to be loud because that’s what gets the audience excited.
This is great if you’re in the audience and enjoying the show, but it can be difficult if you’re on stage and all your hearing is noise coming from everywhere. Many drummers shy away from in-ear monitors, not because they don’t see the need for them, but because they think they are expensive. However, this isn’t necessarily the case. There are choices available across the full price spectrum.
But which are the best for you? We’re here to make that decision easier by reviewing 10 of the best in-ear monitors for drummers currently available. Check them out and see which works best for you…

One awesome thing about the Brainwavz B400 Aqua Quad Monitors is the sound, which is superb.
Each earbud is outfitted with a 4 speaker system. This should describe how nice an experience you’ll get with the monitors. The sounds coming out of them will be clear and precise helping you acheive an even better performance.

- Seven pairs of ear buds including a noise blocking pair.

Best In Ear Monitors For Drummers Buying Guide
For those of you that are not familiar with the technology of in-ear monitors for drummers, the first thing that needs to be understand is that they are basically just a pair of earpieces.
However, while they may look like your everyday earpieces, they are a bit different than that. And it is these differences that you have to look out for when picking the best pair of in-ear monitors for drummers. We’ve listed a couple of them below:
Noise Isolation
One of the most important things about in-ear monitors for drummers is its ability to block out external noise. The drummer wearing them should be able to focus on the sounds that they want to hear, not the ones that they don’t.
Sound
It is very important that your in-ear monitors for drummers block out unwanted noises, but, you also need to make sure that the sounds you do hear are of good quality.
Remember that you are supposed to be hearing what you are playing directly from the monitors. So, be sure that whatever sound you’ll be getting is accurate and at the proper volume.
Wireless or Wired?
To go wireless or wired is a serious issue you need to resolve before you get one of the best in-ear monitors for drummers.
On the one hand, wireless in-ear monitors are convenient and are easy to store. And what’s more? You don’t want to be fighting with wires while you’re giving the performance of your life on stage.
However, wireless monitors are usually more expensive than their wired counterparts. This is due to the additional technology needed. Also, wireless monitors have been known to interfere with some other wireless systems on stage, but advancements in technology have mostly put an end to that problem.
On the other hand, wired in-ear monitors for drummers can be quite burdensome. You’ll need to take extra care to properly store them in such a way that the wires do not get all tangled up.
Construction
Of course, you’ll want a pair of in-ear monitors for drummers that can stand the test of time. So while you choose monitors that give the right feedback and block out sufficient noise, be sure that they are well constructed and are strong enough to last.
Sophistication
This is not a very important factor to consider as it does not necessarily affect the quality of music you produce.
However, if you want more sophistication, you should know that some monitors come with in-built microphones which allow them to be used for taking and making calls as well as skipping through playlists.
If you’re looking for this feature, then be sure that the monitors you’re interested in are compatible with your phone before you buy.
Conclusion
